Weather4Fly helps organize a pre-flight check. It cannot observe the aircraft, obstacles, people, local microclimate or legal authorization.

The remote pilot makes the final decision

A Safe signal is not permission to fly and is not a guarantee of safety. A flight may remain unsafe or unlawful for reasons Weather4Fly cannot detect.

Weather and forecast limitations

Forecasts and observations may be delayed, estimated, unavailable or inaccurate. Conditions can change rapidly and a nearby station or forecast grid may not reflect wind, precipitation, visibility or turbulence at the exact launch point or altitude.

Airspace and map limitations

Map, airport, NOTAM, NFZ and airspace layers are provided for awareness only. Coverage varies by region and may omit temporary, local, military, emergency, event or other restrictions. Weather4Fly does not issue flight authorization. Consult the responsible aviation authority and official operational sources.

Aircraft profiles and manufacturer data

Drone names and specifications are derived from publicly available information and may be incomplete or outdated. Actual capability depends on the exact model, firmware, payload, propellers, battery, damage, maintenance and operating environment. Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; no endorsement or affiliation is implied.

Geomagnetic and GNSS information

K-index and satellite displays provide context, not a direct guarantee of navigation performance. Local interference, multipath, antenna orientation, obstructions, device limitations and aircraft systems can affect positioning independently of the displayed values.

Night and local conditions

Daylight and night indicators do not determine whether night operations are lawful or safe. The pilot must consider licensing, lighting, visual-line-of-sight rules, obstacles, people, wildlife, terrain and all other site-specific factors.

Always complete an independent pre-flight check

  • Inspect the aircraft, batteries, props, firmware and payload.
  • Observe the actual wind, weather and visibility at the site.
  • Confirm official airspace restrictions and authorization.
  • Check people, obstacles, interference and emergency landing options.
  • Stay within manufacturer limits and your own competence.
  • Do not fly whenever information is missing, conflicting or uncertain.
