Weather4Fly requires location access to provide accurate weather information for your current position. Here's exactly how we handle location data:

• Local Processing Only: Your location is used solely on your device to request weather data from third-party weather services
• No Storage: We do not store your location data anywhere - not on our servers, not in the cloud, and not on your device beyond the current session
• No Tracking: We do not track your movements or maintain a history of your locations
• Third-Party Services: Location coordinates are sent directly from your device to weather data providers (such as Apple WeatherKit) to retrieve weather information. We act as a pass-through only
• User Control: You can revoke location permission at any time through your device's privacy settings

3. Third-Party Services

Weather4Fly uses third-party weather data providers to deliver accurate weather information. These services have their own privacy policies:

• Apple WeatherKit: We use Apple's WeatherKit API to fetch weather data. Your location coordinates are sent directly to Apple service.
• NOAA K-Index API: We use NOAA API to fetch K-Index data of your location. Just your location coordinates are sent directly to NOAA service to get K-Index data.
• No Data Sharing: We do not share any additional information with these services beyond what is necessary to retrieve weather data (location coordinates only)
• Anonymous Requests: All weather data requests are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you or your device

4. Advertising

Weather4Fly never display advertisements to support the app.

• We never Show Ads We do not use any ad service in the app. Never, now and in the future!

5. Data Security

Since we don't collect any data, there's no data to secure on our end. However:

• Local Security: All app preferences and settings are stored securely on your device using iOS's built-in security features
• Secure Connections: All communication with weather data providers uses secure HTTPS connections
• No Account Required: The app works without creating any accounts, reducing privacy risks

Weather4Fly is safe for users of all ages:

• COPPA Compliance: Since we don't collect any information, we are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
