How Weather4Fly Works Without Data Collection

Weather4Fly is designed with "local-first" architecture, meaning all data processing happens directly on your device:

• Weather Data: Your device requests weather information directly from Apple's WeatherKit service using your location
• GPS Information: All GPS and location processing happens locally on your device
• Settings & Preferences: Your app settings are stored locally on your device and never synchronized to external servers
• Drone Profiles: Your selected drone configurations are stored only on your device

Third-Party Services

Weather4Fly uses the following third-party services to provide weather data:

Apple WeatherKit

We use Apple's WeatherKit service to provide weather data. When you request weather information, your device communicates directly with Apple's servers using your approximate location. This communication is handled by Apple's privacy-focused infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

NOAA Space Weather

For K-index (geomagnetic activity) data, your device may access publicly available data from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center. This access does not involve sharing any personal information.

In-App Purchases

If you choose to purchase premium features, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, purchase history, or any financial data. Apple handles all payment processing according to their privacy policy.

Contact Information

If you contact us through our website's contact form or email, we will only use your contact information to respond to your inquiry. We do not store this information long-term or use it for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

Since Weather4Fly does not collect any personal information, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, because we don't collect personal information from anyone.
